Hi there, Karl here, ok, so here’s the deal, I’ve been writing about and promoting T-shirt companies for a couple of years on Tcritic and I get a great deal of satisfaction from sharing new and interesting stuff that maybe hasn’t got the attention it deserves. That desire to share new and interesting indie art and illustration is the main motivation behind starting up my own line of T-Shirts. I plan on primarily licensing really cool art and illustration from independent artists and producing high quality T-shirt prints. One of my aims is to also put money in the pocket of the artists themselves by having ongoing residual payments for as long as we are printing the design.
Being a pretty avid T-shirt consumer I have tried to put to work some of the things I’ve learned from other T-shirt companies. We are hand screen printing on American Apparel, we’re printing with a US based screen printer, we provide a screen printed label inside the collar, and a surprise free gift in every package :-)
